hi everyone, ivy here. the class gathering's still on, although i have some bad news.

date: 17th november, thursday
venue: meet at macdonalds. for those who wanna eat lunch (eg. ME), meet at 11.30am, for those who don't wanna eat lunch, meet at 12.30pm
clothes: wear comfortable clothes, preferably teeshirt and shorts or bermudas or something which is not long pants because it'll probably be very hot.

activities: bowling, blading or biking and after that, going to watch harry potter. but i'm not going, so will tell you who's in charge later.

MRS HO SAYS SHE CANNOT COME BECAUSE SHE HAS TO GO TO SCHOOL, SO NOW I DON'T SEE THE POINT OF THIS OUTING AS A FAREWELL. unless you make me go and give it to her, which i don't think i might have the time for. geez.

i've put huda in charge of the movie. i think she might be the only one who wants to watch on that day itself. but anyway, just tell her if you wanna watch harry potter, i'm sure we can arrange something. or we have it on another day, where there'll probably be more seats.

money - bring around $20 if you're having lunch, $15 - $18 if you're not. it depends on the number of people who are bowling, and what shop we go to for blading or biking.

the class cleanliness is INTOLERABLE!
people on duty last friday:
1) people supposed to sweep the floor never sweep!! and it's super obvious.
2) people never even do duty and then sign. cannot cannot!! must both do duty AND sign.
3) clare ate her kitkat in class, threw the wrapper down and she disappeared. we are in trouble with mdm khoo. so DON'T ever eat anything in class. btw clare, you have to see mdm khoo.

1. We are not responsible for your belongings. Take care of your stuff YOURSELF.
2. 14th June
3. 9am - 6pm
4. We are NOT allowed to use class funds for this outing. It's not our fault, we can't help it, we didn't want this to happen. So if you can't make it, please tell us.

Wear
1. shorts and tee shirt
2. sandals/slippers

Note: No long pants or long sleeves. You will regret.

Bring
1. Extra clothes (just in case)
2. $10 - $20
3. Water (500ml is enough)

Schedule
1. Meet at Pasir Ris Interchange (the big field) at 9am sharp.
2. Get into your groups (Dinie and I will tell you your groupings)
3. Take 403 to Pasir Ris Park.
4. Meet up at the playground.
5. Go rollerblading or cycling, in threes or pairs.
6. At 12.30pm, meet at same playground.
7. Split into the groups for lunch (white sands and picnic) and go off.

9. Play bonding games.

i think mdm seah was really unfair to us. she said "time is not a factor", implying that she wants good artwork but we can take a longer amount of time. and then she just came in and ordered us to pass up the work! i mean, she gave us two weeks to do this 3d project, and most of us are doing paper mache, and that was what she wanted. then halfway through, she took away our time, making us watch some movie on corrugated cardboard and INSISTING that we change our design and fit this corrugated cardboard in! i mean, we're all like half done with our project already, and you expected us to change our idea just to fit your tastes? 55 minutes out of 165mins were taken away by that movie. this left us with 110 minutes. and you expect us to finish the project in that time? we are not all that free. we want to PASS our art, not with a c6 or a c5 but with at least a B!!! all our schedules collide. when this girl is free, those two are not. when we try to do as much as possible by multitasking while watching the movie, you didn't like it. you didn't want us to even attempt to pass our art! what kind of teacher are you? GIVE US TIME TO FINISH IT AND YOU YOURSELF WILL BE HAPPY!!!!!!! BECAUSE THEN YOU GET TO SEE BETTER PIECES COMPARED TO WHAT YOU WILL HAVE SEEN IF WE PASSED IT UP ON FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! PAPER MACHE TAKES 3 DAYS TO DRY!!!!!!

People, we still need others to bring food. If you can bring chips, fishballs, sandwiches, anything, please tell me by 25 May. I will also be sending a small group of people to buy some other food. Just wanna congratulate you all on a job well done on Thurs and for passing the Spotcheck! Special thanks to all who helped cleaned the class up! Keep it up, ok? From this week onwards, those who can stay back on Tues/Fri, please do, to clean the class up. You can help the duty people sweep the floor, arrange tables, tidy the teacher's desk, tidy cupboard, clean the board, get new markers,..etc. Loads to do. Oh and decorate the Noticeboards. To all chinese pupils:

if you didnt catch the announcement made today regarding the tong yao, i'm here to tell you all again! (:

hand in your soft (powerpoint) and hard (printed one) copy of the tong yao. both copies must include the reason why you wrote the tong yao.

for the hard copy, just print out the lyrics plus the reason and the font size must be 16. hand in latest by monday.

oh and, i've pinned up the tests schedule on the noticeboard infront of the class. go check them out!

Please bring your English TB and WB if you have brought it home. Ms Saffiah wants to use it on Monday. Also there is a History CA on the first treaty signed by Raffles and the Temenggong (or is it Sultan Tengku Hussein?) on Monday. =( Remember to study!
